Meritline.com Verified Buyer After researching the EP777 boat on various sites, I ordered 6 of them from Meritime for our RC boat racing club that we were starting. After 3 months of hard racing, the boat has worked out great. Very few problems even after many crashes with other boats/bouys. The boat is very fast and fun to drive. Reverse drive would be nice but not mandatory. Note: The antenna is packed under the sticker in one of the foam spacer blocks in the box. Should upgrade the battery to a compatible 7.2v NiMh and get a smart charger too for serious racing. Be sure to order different frequencies in order to race. There are 3 different frequencies available. As a safety feature the engines will not run unless the boat is in the water. (This feature can be bypassed.) Meritline was great on both their pricing and delivery! Buy it!

It is probably worth $40, but no more. We returned the first one because the hand-held remote did not have an antenna (all photos on the box and instructions show an antenna). Returned the first one (at my expense) and the second one was exactly the same. Tested it and everything worked. This is advertised as a FULL-FUNCTION, but it does not have any reverse. I recommend getting a second ni-cd battery.
