While the price was amazing and the order was shipped fast, the battery came without the necessary terminal to connect it to the board. Thus, I could not replace the battery.

Over all very happy with my purchase. One thing I did not like was the fact that I had to unsolder the clip from my old battery and attach it to my new battery. The new battery should come with the clip which is used to make contact between the phone and battery. Shipping time was as discribed, got it within two weeks of ordering.

Looks good, but found out the battery issue was covered under my warrentee and replacing the battery on my own would have voided the warrentee.

Excellent customer service. When we were told the product would not be placed in the iphone, and asked to return the product, they just credited the account instead. Would work with you again!

Received battery. Item does not have the right connector to work with iphone3g. E-mailed Meritline customer support. Did not receive a response. Won't even bother returning as it was $6 shipped. Will not order again.

This item came a connector that was not usable with a 3G iPhone and the end user must solder the 4 very tiny solder connections without melting the plastic connector. So iPhone 3G user beware.

I replaced the battery in my iphone wanting to see at least a little change in battery life and it appears to be less than the original. I would not recommend the change unless it is absolutely necessary. The price makes it an OK deal but don't expect any difference and maybe even less.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I found the product to be of good quality and low cost for your iPhone 3g. But if you are not very technical or have a good dexterity, soldering the adapter to the battery is very difficult.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I did it!!! (Girl Power!)Highly recommend toolset 400-373-001, plus a suction cup to easily lift the screen, and watching the 8-min “how-to” video on YouTube… and in my case, reading glasses because the parts are tiny – but it all worked! (No soldering necessary.)
