This product is possibly one of the best available for it's intent and price. It provides a bright, easily seen light array. Ive been told that it looks like an emergency vehicle from afar. With two or three of them, you would look like a UFO at night! It takes common AA batteries, without the need for anything special. I don't know how long they last as I haven't run out the ones I initially installed. There are three display patterns: Steady, flashing slow, flashing fast. It has a built in strap, so there are no special fixtures or fittings required. It mounts in any direction and can face front side or rear. The small on-off button is placed so as to be somewhat difficult to actuate. But you turn it on before you ride and turn it off when you arrive, so there isn't much need to fool with it in use. I recommend this item.
