Right now I'm giving it a low review because it has NOT worked with an MP3 player! Even though it is plugged in, I get a message that says "no disk." If anyone can shed light on this, that'd be great. Otherwise, the idea of it is nice, but it certainly has not functioned the way it's advertised...

This really is a good product. It has really good transmission. Perfectly transmits even if the selected frequency is in use. The MP3 player cool as well. I bought threeof these.

I previously purchased this same product and am very pleased with the value and performance. However, a second one I ordered and received only played on the right channel only. The left channel was inoperative. I contacted Meritline and they credited my credit card account for the purchase price. Good service there, but unfortunatly, the unit had a manufacturing defect.

The i-mobile car mp3 player is a great product for the price. Don’t listen to the other bad reviews. For $10 you can’t complain. Been using for 8 weeks now. PROS: Works best with a mp3 player. It worked fine with my Zune 30 and Creative MuVo but you have to turn the volume up 3/4 on player for best results. It can use a USB stick or SD card which also works good (volume works best with these). It has a remote control that works pretty good. CONS: If you use USB or SD the player will lose where you were and the radio setting if unplugged from lighter plug. I hit pause when I go to the store and when I return press play to resume. You have to use a headphone extension cord to use mp3 player but I already had one. Takes 3-4 weeks to receive in mail. OVERALL: A good solution for an older car that can’t play mp3. I highly recommend this product. At my local auto parts store a similar product with no remote or SD slot sells for $30.

Bought this product few months ago for $20. It's poorly designed & broke down finally, blowing away the fuse in the cigar socket power supply. The signal is weak & you'll hear lot of noise. Remote works only within 5mm radius. And it doesn't remember the last song played & you'll endup hearing the first few songs over & over again.

I will not recommend this product. The sound quality is very poor and the unit will keep on getting disconnected from the source and then you have to manually take it out and put it back in ,enabling you to listen the same song again and again. I am not at all happy with this product. The remote is also not working. If I am the unlucky one to recieve a defective piece then I will request Meritline to please have a better quality check and customer care to deal with these issues.

I would not recommend it. After a week of my order, Meritline tell me that the item is backlogged and I will have to wait; I can either cancel my order or wait. Why did they wait for 1 week to tell me this? Finally, the product arrived; directly shipped from Hongkong. it worked for 10 minutes and then broke down. The fuse was out and there was no spare fuse with the product. It was a great frustration out of delayed delivery and non-functioning product. I called up Meritline and the issued a refund. After borrowing a fuse from friend, it worked but then again: 1. Everytime you turn it on, the first song will be played and 2. The frequencty will be reset to 87.5 which is very irritating. The sound quality is good though and I think its a reasonable product if you have luck and plan to use it for long trips.

Product is good and received item when price was $19.99. But, re-order experience is bad when price was $9.99. Still I doubt...I have received once when price was $19.99 (they have my shipping address saved) and for next time WHY it became UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESS when price is $9.99!!! Don't you think MERITLINE.

I have had one of these units for about a year now, and overall I'm very pleased with it. The FM transmitter is better than ANY other unit I've ever used, including several units that were more than three times the price. I also like the flexibility of being able to tune it to any frequency that's available, and I appreciate the fact that it retains the frequency I've chosen even after pulling it out of the socket and coming back even months later. The same applies to the music ... I have approximately three hundred songs loaded on a SD card, and this unit always picks up where I left off! The sound quality is quite good overall. My only complaint regarding the playback of music directly off a memory card is that the unit doesn't automatically equalize the volume levels of each track (which I think it should). As a result, I sometimes have to raise or lower the volume if a particular song wasn't originally encoded at an optimum volume. Not a big deal, but an extra step nevert
