I bought 4 sets of all colors 5 months ago as back-up. I finally pull it out to replace my spent cartridge, and it doesn't fit! I double-checked the compatibility list on this website, and it still lists it as being compatible. Though as another customer stated, it looks completely different than my oem ink. For those who are curious, I have the MFC-J615W. For those who have the same model, it's not going to fit.

Brother compatible cartridges do look different from the OEM cartridges. But it should still fit into your printer. Unfortunately no order number was provided with the review so we cannot look up the order information in our system. If you tried the cartridges and they do not fit, please contact customer service for refund/exchange if they are still within the warranty period as stated in the item description above.

Printer: MFC-J615W This Cartridge design is little different at the front bottom area. You can not see it in the picture. Maritline needs to provide a better picture. If you push it inside then it won't fit. There is a trick to make it work. TRICK: Put it inside and then push it upwards, now push it straight inside and it will fit. Not bad for $3.99. I was able to print a page without any problem. Now, it remains to be seen if it prints 450 pages at 5% as it claims.

most people already know ink is overpriced. at first i was scared, now ill be coming back to meritline to get ink from know on. i purchased 2. and 1 has lasted longer then a 40 dollar cart. and i only spent 4bucks on 1 through meritline.. need i say more

A complete waste of money. These black ink cartridges for my MFC490 do not resemble the originals in any way and the very best results obtained was a barely visible output on each page. Most cme out of the printer as though it was invisible ink. I tried both cartridges with exactly the same results. I tried cleaning the heads on this almost new printer to no avail. I should have been suspicious when the cartridges held no resemblance to the originals. I will be looking to get my money refunded. Perhaps the old axiom is true: "You get what you pay for."

I must be honest and state I was a little leery of purchasing a re-manufactured ink-jet cartridge for my Brother MFC 290c all-in-one printer. As it turns out, my worries were completely unfounded and I will buy all future ink-jet products from these guys! The print quality on my new ink cartridges is excellent, and I can’t tell the difference between the re-manufactured ink-jet cartridge and the original OEM Brother cartridge. With your prompt delivery and fantastic prices, you have won a customer for life. Kudos to you!
