These cartridges are not compatible with MFC-J430W. I tried out both sets of cartridges; the printer recognizes them, but it prints out blanks. This is an issue pointed out on other online vendors, but I hoped that it wouldn't be the case with Meritline ones since they got high praise on forums. I have no choice but to eat the cost because they're too expensive to ship back.

I use these in my Brother MFC-J625DW and they work fine. Colors and Black are not as deep as the real Brother ink, but it's fine for general use. NO clogs or skipping to speak of.

compatible with MFC-J430W. the unit must be left in the printer overnight to be pressurized. make sure that they are firmly fitted, some MFC J430W and better built seal and recognize the cartridge instantly. have to MFC printer 1 is USA built the other is built in china the older USA model is better quality. but everybody want cheap price so accept your sin and don't cry foul
