As an overly busy professional photographer with too many camera bags, jackets and the like losing my cable release is a common occurrence. Meritline has solved that problem for me; I ordered six of the cable releases and have them tucked into nooks and crannies of my gear. No more buying, in desperation the "high priced" Canon version. Oh yes & by the way these gadgets work great!

Great item. Very light weight but the button feel is good. I have used it several times now with excellent results and carry it with me all the time.

This shutter is okay to use and worth with what you paid, but...if you really want a reliable product buy the original one, which will cost "an arm and a legg". I just wonder why Canon "cut our throat" for that high price? ($50 from B&H). One "con" : the plug barely stay in, in the real world, I think it will fall out easily, once you move here and there.

Question: Would this (RS-80N3 equivalent) be compatible with Canon Rebel XTi (400D)?
