Nice item. The "rotation" described is an up and down pivoting action, not a lateral one. Note that this operates on 2 CR2032 3V batteries, which are little harder to come by for a nominal cost than the 377s and other cells typical of small LED electronics. The blister pack on mine was pressed on during shipment and a crease from that put continuous pressure on the switch, so the batteries were nearly worn out when I got it. I ordered that taurus bull keychain thingie for a buck to get replacement batteries. Nice thing about this is how all the LEDS are set so that they focus on a single point. Nice product.

The lamp part of this device DOES NOT ROTATE. You can tilt it up and down 20-30 degrees, but turning it 180 degrees is NOT possible. Otherwise, it is light, the battery installation is very easy, and it puts out a lot of white light.

Do not expect too much, and you will be happy. The "4 LED 360 Rotatable Lamp Clip" is a great deal for the price that Meritline.com offers it. The clip strength is plenty strong. You can click once or twice to light either 2 of the 4 LED's. Downsides are that you do not have FULL adjustment -- there are "clicks" in the adjustment range that you cannot choose in between. I have also had difficulty trying to extract the battery compartment to put in new ones. I cannot understand how people complain about an extremely inexpensive product. The REASON that they are SO inexpensive is that the manufacturing processes have been streamlined (Cut) for cost reasons. If you want items that are SUPER cheap, stop complaining! It works FANTASTICALLY for what it is, and if you want a full featured product with aftermarket support then you should expect that you need to pay a LOT more.

This LED light surprised and exceeded my expectations. You have an option to turn on 2 or all 4 LED's. 2 is plenty bright enough for whatever you have to do. Other reviews stating that the light is dull should really check to see if the battery has power, Duh! I like the reviewer who bought a dollar item which he only got for the batteries. This light is bright enough I'm thinking of mounting it to my bike as a headlight. Yes it is that bright. Happy about this purchase and bought a couple more as I write this review. I highly recommend this LED light.
