Tried two different PGI-220BK cartridges from the package, both not recognized by printer. One worked for a bit after power cycling the printer, but failed shortly there after. Poor quality chips most likely. I have a Canon PIXMA MX870 - the cartidge model is a match, however, there seems to be a problem with the chips. Maybe they don't work with the newest model, because on the box my model is not mentioned - goes up to PIXMA 860 only, but i think they are basically same.

I ordered a bunch of these for my Canon PIXMA 870. Good colors, but the printer complains that it doesn't recognize the cartridge every time I go to print something. And it cycles thru each color, one by one. Each time requires a printer shutdown and re-start. Which of course means I have to go an print again from whatever application I am using. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
