This iPhone (1st generation) suction cup holder helps keep the iPhone at eye level while driving. It's especially helpful while using the Maps app. The suction cup can come off at inopportune times, sometimes while driving, sometimes while trying adjust the phone. I've had 2 of these, the 1st one broke where it holds the iPhone, so the plastic quality might not be that great. But it's a nice cheap, replaceable solution to displaying the iPhone while driving.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer fit the iphone, but not holding well. so cheap material looks and easy to break. won't buy again

The product looked great and the function was great. The problem is the first time I used it the clip on the flat holder broke off that holds the unit in place. you must use out of the units case too. Meritline took care of the issue, but the item is not worth the risk again.
