    Item was not working from the begining (manufacturing defect) to ship back the cost od shipping is more than the Single Track White Cassette Adapter itself. Advertized one price and then increased the price in my credit card statement when received the bill. Has a bitter experience with Meritline.

    the audio quality of this item is absolutely horrible. there was a coupon at the time so i paid $2 for this, and i overpaid by about $3.

    Go for it...if u got the old set which plays only cassettes and fm transmitter is not as clear, cassette is another option. Played it today for the first time and it worked...so now i can play all my ipod songs properly..hopefully don't face any issues down the line as it was just the first day and it worked fine for me

    Very Very Very Bad... I got this Single Track white cassette adapter for car audio, But when i first used in my car, the audio started giving noice which was louder than the audio song (kind of diesel motor running sound). But when icalled the Meriline they asked to send back the product, but i bought it for only 1 dollar, if i need to send again i need to pay the postatage so not sending.

    The quality is very poor. The wheel inside the adapter is making continuous sound while playing. I will not recommend this product.

    fast shipping. okay quality. It does sound rather noisy, when played in my car stereo. I assume it's the low cassette quality that is making the clicking sound every 3 seconds. Other than that, works well.

    Don't even bother looking at this thing on your computer monitor. It doesn't deserve the right to show its face. I plugged it into my cassette player and turned on my ipod...nothing. Over and over it just kept ejecting itself. Worthless.

    pro: it's much louder than my panasonic one, the wire can be easily moved from side to top, price con: have to wiggle it around to find the right sound.

    The 3.5mm jack does not function properly without pressure on it. Without pressure, it only outputs to the right speakers.

    A bargain buy. The sound quality is good. However the issue is with the autoreverse mechanism. It's poorly built and it rattles while running, and is very noisy. Same issue I had with a previous cassette adapter was fixed by opening up and applying little amount of oil on the wheels.

    this is an excellent product. I bought 3, one for each of my cars and they (cassettes) work like a charm. I replaced all the FM transmitters I had. I was tired of always losing the signal to FM radios as I was driving. The sound quality is comparable to that of FM transmitter if not better.

    This adapter is junk. Even though it's brand new, the sound quality is horrible. Veeeeery muffled. These units are all but worthless.

    It works. Although I have to fiddle with it while it's in my player to get the best sound. Might be more a problem with my cassette deck than the adapter.

    These cassette adaptors are piece of junk! They don't play sound in stereo but only on one side (mono). I got three of these to use for my cars and give one to someone however I am not stuck with these. I want to return these back. I will never buy anything the Meritline sells!!! Please contact me to initiate a return for these.

    These batteries although powerful and chargeable have an undersized tip length on the top pole. This causes them not to make contact with the battery contact terminals in some products, such as my Agfa digital camera. I found I could still use them by stuffing aluminum foil between the batteries and the terminals, but what a pain!!!

    Both of the cassette adapters I ordered were bad. Only one channel worked and it sounded horrible. I ended up buying a Belkin XM cassette adapter from Amazon for around $8 and it works great. I tossed these two. I waste of money.

    Hello, The product did not work at all. Not for a minute. As soon as I put the cassette into the cassette player, it will just come out immediately. I want to return the product and get a full refund. Let em knwo how to proceed to get a refund.

    adaptor does NOT work. starts working for a few seconds and then the player reverses, reverses, then ejects. the player does not have a problem playing cassettes.

    don't waste your money. i bought 3 of these: 1 amkes load mechanical noise and ejects within a few seconds; second is noisy mechanically and gives a loud buzz from speaker; last works best little or no mechanical noise and very low buzz through speakers during silence in music track. i also have to turn up the MP3 player volume up and the car unit volume up rather high to get a decent level out of speakers. i tried it with 3 different MP3 and 2 cd units and 3 different cars with same results.

    The Audio Cassette Adepter and the FM transmitter, both are crap. It took almost a month to arrive and that too, it is useless.

    I could hear the music, but I had to work the wire like it was already used and if you didn't hold the wire at an angle it didn't even work. No pleased at all with this product, and it makes me want to never buy anything electronic from Meritline.com again!

    The item was not as that I expected,didnt work properly. I had two,one worked other one didnt. The one that worked is making noise at times.I wont recommend this to anyone..

    nice one. works great. For those who say it has noise, check the connection. I also had this with my blacberry but once I wiggled the headphone jack, it sounded clean.

    Works great on my Lexus and my friends Avalon. Nice CD quality sound from my mp3 player hooked to car stereo. It only works on one side but that's how it is made and is enough. Why the hell anyone wants to play both sides??? Its the same freaking sound from either side. Very happy with purchase for 79 cents.

    Unfortunately, the unit never worked properly. Couldn't get it to make a connection with both output channels working. Tried with multiple input & output devices.

    Terrible product. Unusable. Wasted of plastic and what little circuitry involved. Should be removed from inventory. I want a refund of the $2.99. Purchased a Phillips brand at Target for $9.99 and it works as expected.

    I've received many excellent products from Meritline, but this item, a Cassette Adapter for Ipod & MP3 is an exception. It simply does not work. I insert it into the cassette player slot on the radio, no sound -- and after about 10 seconds it pops out again. The item was so cheap, $0.79, that I simply threw it into a drawer and forgot about it.

    Actually, I don't recommend to you. It's WORKING PERFECTLY BUT it makes some irrupted sound on this product. I have other thing like this but that's not making any sound or anything. I might use different one and keep this in case.

    Exactly what I needed at an amazing price. The cassette adapter will allow me to play my iPod through my car stereo during an upcoming road trip. A previous one had lost the ability to play one of the channels, this one restores my stereo sound.

    The sound is not very clear and have so much noise. Not clear compare to the Sony one that I have for years. I wouldn't buy it again. Lucky I only paid under a buck for it.

    Pro: good sound Cons: I only hear sound from my Right speakers. No matter what setting that i use. I test this on 2 cars and have the same problem. I will continue using my FM transmitter instead of this one.

    I found this on sale for .79 with free shipping. I had very low expectations, the price seemed too low, but it works flawlessly. Given that all our tapes have worn out the cassette player in our old car was worthless until I bought this adapter.
