In terms of cost verses performance this flashlight is the best value on Meritline. It has a good bright spot with long throw (300 yards). It also has good spill with few artifacts for wide area lighting up close. It is VERY bright. It is relatively small and convenient (though NOT in the every day carry or pocket light class!) The only disadvantage is that it requires one 18650 rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. If you do not already own these they will cost about $5-$7 each plus another $10-$15 for a charger. I highly recommend this light and I own MANY LED flashlights.

The prev review is right on the money. Incredibly bright, perfect spill, very long throw. Lights up trees 100 yards away almost as good as my 12Volt 100 Watt 1 million candlepower spotlight. Head/reflector is a little large, but the handle fits in one hand no problem. Only weighs 7.1 ounces with one 3.7 Li-on batt. Just buy it, you'll love it!! :)

Great light! Really bright! Run time was far longer than advertized.

OK So I have a little flash light fetish. This is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. For an ALL IN price of under $30 (Light, Battery and Charger), this is the best deal around!

This is an excellent light. Lighter weight and shorter than a two battery model, it's easier to carry. The bulb-lens diameter is still the same as the two battery models. The lumens are not as bright as the two battery model Aurora Cree x4 AK-T6 750 lumens, but there is not a lot of difference. I have yet to see if this one-battery model will retain the charge as well as the other and if the brightness will fall off faster. So for, for about 2 months, the light is still as strong. I only use the lights for emergencies, so it's all about the storage of the batteries and the life of the circuits inside them. One two-battery 1200 lumens flashlight, NOT bought at Meritline, the TrustFire TR-1200, has failed after only about one month. The batteries are good. It must be the circuits inside that failed.

I really like this torch. Lightweight and compact. Bright white light that projects useful light a loooooooonnnggggggg way! Plus a bonus - this would fit the 1" rifle weaver/picatinny style rail mounts with it's slim near 1" body. Is a tiny bit brighter at the core than the Mrv Cree XM-L XML T6 1000 lumen, though that one does have a little brighter corona, though not dramatically. From out here in the "Big O" - Omaha NE Runs fine on the Ultrafire 3000 Mah batteries. The chargers for the 18650 Meritline sells work fine too. I cannot see buying a brighter flashlight for the money! I doubt one is made!!

Awesome bright light! worth the wait. It is BRIGHT!! I didn't realize it would be that bright and shine far! The only downfall is the type of battery it takes (18650)... the god news: you can use two C123A instead and come up with the same result.

edit: removed diatribe about cops being idiots and getting the flashlight to shine in thier eyes after the do the same to me as unable to post . so yeah works great to return stun them. only issue is mine is 5mode hi,med, low, fast blink, sos. really only wanted hi/low, battery life seems to be at claimed, only had one battery in so far, 3 others in stand by to test. good pattern w/spot and fill. nonzoomable but cost and performance are great if you the batts/chrg already. id drop to 4 stars if modes were less then 3 but having more then stated isnt issue right now, even though i bought this instead of a 1200 lumen xml t6 2 18650 or 3 aaa light that had 5 modes due to the extra modes. hi/low good enough for me
