This is the flashlight to get. The amount of light it puts out is simply amazing. I haven't noticed any heat issues with the light with normal use, although it may get warm with long use. The casing is of very high quality and it's built "Like a Tank". It worked with an old 18650 harvested from a laptop, or the 3 AAA pack that came with it. It looks like the spec deleted the AAA pack which is a shame - you may be able to rig something up with a AAA pack from a "lesser quality light".

Good quality, good price, Has good throw of beam and is very bright. Mine came in the 5-mode, not the 3-mode that is stated and it is a UltraFire, never the less, it is a good all around light to have around when needed.

This flashlight shines a HUGE area of light and works well for closer encounters. However, the light does not work as well at distances. It's still an overall good light to use to see what's in front of you, for walks and such.

The best of many worlds: 1. Very bright 2. Zooms from wide to concentrated beam. 3. Uses 18650 rechargeable or 3 AAA 4. Quality built

This is a great little flashlight. Super bright! It has really solid construction. The top slides up and down to narrow/widen the beam. It came with two battery holders, one for 1x18650 and one for 3 AAA batteries. It says UltraFire on the side but its definitely not a real UltraFire. Also, the description says 3 mode, but mine is definitely a 5 mode (High-Med-Low-Strobe-SOS). It's extremely bright, but I don't know if it is 1200 lumens, there's an identical one on another "deal" website that says its 900 lumens, but it is by far the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. This is the one to buy!!

Very bright and very well built for the price. Mine also came as a copper color and is only 3 modes. High, Low, Strobe. Also came with the cartridge that holds 3 AAA batteries. Using with 188-897-001 batteries and 0020334-001 charger woks great!

PROS: Very Bright, Smooth/steady focusing, long range throw, came with 3xAAA adapter CONS: Mine was copper colored (instead of grey as shown), Square focused beam just looks odd next to a round focused beam. OVERALL: A great and well constructed light that can go the distance. No idea on battery life yet, but time will tell.
