Meritline.com Verified Buyer Flash light is a 4 without a doubt. I really don?t care for all the L,M,H settings and the flash feature. Might be a smart thing to put some never seize on the threads so you don't have problems down the road. I have a gripe though. Meritline first listed this light with batteries and charger and I purchased this because of this reason (Yes I was careful to read it several times and completely because I have seen this in other peoples feedbacks). I don?t want to purchase a light and have to make a second purchase of a special type battery. After receiving a ?We are sorry to inform you that your order is currently on back order due to the item in your order is out of stock? email, I wasn?t too worried as long as the item was still available?well, when the item came in it was missing the charger and batteries and when I went to the site to confirm this they had also changed the advertisement. What I am saying here is if you make a purchase of something new make sure that you have a scr

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I agree with the previous reviewer. The description was initially wrong and said it included the batteries and charger. It is now correct. Even without the batteries and charger it is worth the 35 dollars. It is VERY bright and has a tight spot with long throw. It has decent spill for lighting nearby however there are several bright rings and artifacts in the spill. Overall definitely a 4 star product however item #188-609-001 which takes only one 18650 battery is almost as bright and has a MUCH cleaner spill. It is also a MUCH better value at 19 dollars free shipping. I like the convenience and weight of 188-609-001 better too.
