In my collection of over 50 LED flashlights this is my first Cree T6 LED and am I impressed! At 6 feet the flood only beam is 6 feet wide and evenly filled with sharp edges. It's very, very bright on High (a mode I won't use often) and perfect for in car or in room lighting with it's wide perfectly round beam. The clip arrangement will work well clipped on the brim of a hat and it tail stands solidly. One day I will measure current draw but I know on High it's up there and will get very warm. My mode arrangement is as stated except the last mode is a slow but true SOS. The useful Medium and Low modes are digitally regulated as I see a strobe pattern on a computer fan. It should be advertised as manufactured by Sipik like it states on the light. Sipik produces acceptable quality flashlights and Meritline's prices can't be beat! I received mine in 14 days. Now I need to find a 2 cell tight beamed 'Thrower' incorporating the impressive Cree T6 LED. 5 Stars and highly recommended.

I was disappointed as soon as I took it out of its packaging. Although the flashlight comes in a thin cardboard box, this box was shipped in a regular bubble-wrap-envelope, so the product was banged up and and squished by the time it arrived. It's much smaller than I expected, about the same size as the 250-lumen flashlights that are sold on this website The worst part is that I have measured the flashlight's max output to be 300 lumens, nowhere near the 1000 lumens as stated in the description. I am wondering if they posted the wrong description for this flashlight. There is hardly a difference between the output of this flashlight compared to the cheaper Cree ones that use AA batteries, so I would suggest finding a different "1000 lumen" flashlight or purchasing one that doesn't require an entirely separate order of 18650 batteries.

Not a very good light. I own aprox 40 meritline lights Cons: this one is only 300Lm and has a plastic lens not coated glass as described, also this does not have a reflector. back push button bezel Has sharp edges, gets very hot quick. Pro: Nice and small the Cree Q5 5-Mode 280-Lumen LED Flashlight - Black (1x18650 not included)-0001336-001 is still as bright and a sharper beam.

This is a Sipik SK-73. Very bright and well made. Compact for an 18650 light. There is a small hole in the base for a carrying strap but mine did not come with one. Highly recommended.

Super-bright. Compact size. Works well, has a nice smooth non-ringy flood beam. When zoomed in, the output doesn't seem to get any brighter-- the beam just gets narrower, until you can see an image of the LED chip itself. This is probably due to the inside of the barrel being black-- when you pull the barrel out to zoom the flashlight to a narrow beam, the inside of the barrel is dark, so any light hitting the inside of the barrel won't reflect out. Two stars lost because the zoom feature is weak. Other than that, if you want a nice floor beam, it's great.

This is one incredibly bright light. I can't believe it's as bright as it is. Way to powerful for close reading but fantastic for walking in the woods, your yard, dark house, dark garage. Has 5 modes and easy to operate. Uses a 18650 battery and is very energy efficient. Last me over 4 hour on high with a 2600 mah battery. You will not find a brighter light at this price. I paid 13.99 now it 9.99 can't beat that at all. Gives a very wide pattern which lights up everything in front of you. Don't pass it up. The clip is also awesome, I clip it to the outside of my pocket and it's always ready to use. Buy it before they're gone

It's very very bright. It throws very uniform round beams at wide zoom setting. It has absolutely no hot spot as the circle of light it emits is very even in illumination. Highly recommended especially at this low price. Side note: Meritline sent me a single mode version of the flash light instead of 5 mode one. But it is ok since I mostly use the maximum setting anyway.

Very disappointed by this light. As other reviewers have noted, it is no where near as bright as the claimed 1000 lumens. Also, this flashlight has a zoom lens that was not in the description (the description has since been changed). The zoom works by pushing and pulling on the flashlight head and does not lock in place and moves too easily. My flashlight lacked a reflector, and the memory switch does not work. The lens is plastic and not coated glass. Find a different flashlight.

I recently wrote a review for the Cree Q5 LED Flashlight (Flashlight Torch)3-Mode 280LM that I purchased from Meritline, hailing it as my new goto flashlight over another model I had purchased from Meritline. The drawback was the body diameter but that was something that was overcome by the output performance of the flashlight. Now with this flashlight I have a new goto flashlight. The light output is brighter and the circle of light is so brightly even; unlike others that have a significantly brighter center and the outer areas a bit dimmer. And now I have a smaller package in the body. Perfect! Oughta fit good in my bicycle handlebar adapters. I'd like to buy two more but can only justify one. I'd give it 5 stars but I have not yet experienced it's longer term performance.

I own many LED lights and this is not very good. Cheap white metal material. Not very bright, It would seem after reading the reviews that there is more than one manufacturer. This is probably a hit or miss depending which manufacturer your light comes from.
