Meritline.com Verified Buyer I just rec'd the light and it's very nice. It came in a sturdy cardboard box that is padded and cut out for the flashlight. It made it from Signapore to the US with out any crunched corners etc. Contents of the box were a 18650 adapter (basically a plastic tube that goes around the battery to take up space), 3AAA battery holder (installed in the flashlight) and the flashlight. The flashlight had a static cling clear sticker on the lens to prevent scratches in transit. The flashlight is built very nicely and feels very solid. A realistic lumen count is probably around 700 the 1200 stated is stretching it! The O ring on the tail piece came lubricated & the threads were cut nice and clean. I can not comment on how waterproof the light is nor how long the battery will last since I just rec'd it. I am using battery #188-897-002 from here. My light came without any writting on the outside like the photos here. Do not expect a manual but you won't need one. A lanyard would have been nice.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer this flash light is well built and SUPER bright. it is brighter than my honda civic's headlights. do not shine in anyone's eyes! i am very happy with this light. i purchased the LiOn battery needed from amazon.com with a charger for an additional $32 total. im not sure i like the clear plastic lense attached by the 3 alen screws yet. again, it's quality built....im just not sure i like it. i would say that's my only complaint. if you are thinking about buying this light, DO IT FOR SURE! im thinking about getting a second!

Don't waste your time with these, I bought 2 of them and one died after 2 divers and the other one died after 6 dives (leaked) by this one instead 0017806-001 these are half the price and we have probably 200 dives and still going strong and they are brighter.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer The first light I received had three o-rings that had not been lubricated and the light would not turn on reliably. It also had moisture in it after only one 20M dive. I returned the light for replacement. The replacement looks like the original but has two o-rings that are well lubricated with silicone grease. It also is slightly larger in diameter and came with the option to use 3 AAA batteries in a supplied special little holder or one 18650 rechargeable with a supplied adapter sleeve. I am very happy with the new light and the Meritline service.
