Arrived quick enough. I tested it in ice water -- 32.2F. Good enough, but I noticed I had to keep stirring to get that number so it must draw down a fair amount of heat from the stem, otherwise had 34F. But putting in it boiling water (fresh water at sea level), which is the only other easily calibrated temp testing medium I have, it measured 208. That 4 degrees is a bit annoying because it means the difference between rare and medium on beef and might lead you to over cook your chicken a bit...

Well made. Accurate to within 2 degrees in freezing and boiling water. I suspect the plastic parts will melt if left in a hot oven.

Handy, very small gadget to use around your grill. Has handy storage tube. May be a bit hard to read under poor light but does what it says it will.

Works great. Excellent product, especially for the price paid. Have been using it for more than a year now, still works fine. Since it's not mentioned, this thermometer uses one button cell. You have to unscrew the top of the thermometer. The battery size is SR44/AG13/LR44.
