Am pleasantly surprised with this product. For being cheap and battery-powered; it is surprisingly sensitive and bright. The motion sensor has a surprisingly wide field of view. Great for mounting places that don't have house power.

not bad. i mean for ~$15, i thought it would be brighter. on the plus side, the motion sensor is *really* good. on the downside, it is *really* good, meaning it will turn on from like 40ft. away, but the light is only good for about 20 or so ft. so you end up burning up your batteries unless you point the sensor almost backwards. like i said, it's about fair. not great, not bad. i bought 2 of them and have had for 6 months.

I have 6 (I think) of these and I love them. Batteries last for months, they are very bright and I have had no failures.

Used for about 5 months but sensor went bad and light is on all the time. Only 30 days return policy. Didn't see warranty period. Sad.

It works very good and gives good light for its size. Easy installation. I am very satisfied!

Bought this on a sale, and am really happy. I set it up in basement to make sure it works and it has been working for 3 weeks perfectly.
It will not turn on in bright light, so that is why I put it basement. It detects movement in the dark and turns on for a while, nice and bright. Instructions and screws are inside it when you get it.
I'm going to mount it in a shed that has no electrcity.
I totally recommend it, and might buy another for down on the dock to light up when boats come in at night.
I love how it will not turn on in the day that saves the battery.

I bought one and quickly ordered another. This unit provides the right amount of light to guide me to the back door. The second unit will do sentry duty by my side door.
The installed unit detects me as I leave the garage side door and I'd be lost without it. The new unit will provide the light that my 95 y-o father needs to climb the steps to the side door.
I'm a very happy customer!

Looks like the motion detector sensor has failed for my unit as well (not sure when) and the light remains on all night. I have currently removed the unit to save on batteries. Looking for a replacement or a refund as it is currently of no use. Please advise.

I ordered 2 of these - one for my front porch area and one for the back. I had tried different solutions to my front steps, which are off to the side of my front door and not served by my porch lights very well. Either the light wasn't bright enough, the sensor didn't work, etc. This exceeded my expectation. I tested a couple of different areas for placement - the light is BRIGHT, so had to test it while standing at the bottom of the steps to make sure people weren't blinded. The sensor works fine and works the right amount of distance away so people can safely see the steps before they get there. It throws off a nice wide pool of light and with a couple of different places to adjust the angle, you should be able to get it just right. I am probably going to get another one for a beach house store room - it's just perfect. I've had mine a couple of months - just hope the batteries really hold out a year.
