    Description:

    The 3D LED Wireless Motion Sensor Flood-Lite uses new LED technology to provide safe bright light anywhere you need it without connecting any wires. It uses 3 D cell Alkaline batteries (not included) and will run for more than 1 year without changing batteries (based on average use). The Wireless LED Flood-Lite uses a sophisticated motion sensor coupled with a photo sensor and variable timer and brightness control. The Flood-Lite will only turn on when it is dark and only when motion is detected. The light automatically turns itself off after 30 seconds or 2 minutes. The LED Flood-Lite features 2 brightness levels to allow for extended, ensure long life, and energy efficiency. Easy to put up and the LED is plenty bright for general illumination. The problem is that the motion detector timer quit working after about 2 months. So the light stayed on all night for about 2 - 3 weeks before the batteries died. A little hard to get a year out of the batteries like that.

As an update to my earlier review, Dorcy replaced the defective light without a problem. In fact even though I was unlucky enough to get a second problem child as a replacement they replaced it with no questions asked. Obviously they trust their products and I just had bad luck. The last replacement has worked great for over a month.

I purchased this light without much expectation, but now that I have used it for a few weeks, I really like it. Bright LED light. very Sensitive motion sensor. Easy to adjustable base. Holds lots of batteries so my guess is the LEDs will burn many hours on each set of batteries.I will buy another when they go back on sale.

I bought one and liked it so much that I bought a second one a couple of weeks later. That should say it all. Have to wait for the battery life, but it is going strong and I am happy.

This is an awesome item. I am glad MeritLine started carring it. I have bought several from Walmart for about $21 each. This item is very bright, motion sensor is excellent and catches motion to about 20ft away. Battery life is exception due to using 3x D-cells. Newer version at walmart have REMOVED the Power-output and Duration switch :( Output used to to control 70% or 100% output and duration was 1,5,10min after activation (i believe) This ITEM is EXCELLENT for installing the dark places if you do not wish to run electrical wiring. Installed at my parents house corridor stairs for the 2nd level, now that place light-up at night automatically even when the door at top of the stair is closed and block the light. Expecting batteries to last more then 1.5 years. CON: Only NEGATIVE is that if you place near a HEAT AIR VENT, it react to the heat coming out of the air-vent during the cold months. This will drain the batteries in about a week.

Works great for pitch black/dark areas. I mounted this on the side of my deck so when my dog goes out to do her business, I can see her. Lights up an area roughly 20x20'. It also came in handy now that it gets darker earlier for when I am grilling outside.
