    The thermometer is good for the price. Its a bit slow but that is okay..for this price..it is the best, I can ever have.

    Thermometers seems to work fine, as long as used as directed

    I, like one other reviewer, had problems with the thermometer reading low by approximately one degree Farenheit. I took the advice I saw by a staffer and called Lumiscope. They seemed to think it wasn't that serious. They suggested that maybe the battery was low (though the indicator was not appearing to show a low battery). Nonetheless I did remove it and it was at 1.57 volts. After I put the battery back in the thermometer read only .4 and .3 degrees lower comparing it to two differnt mercury thermometers.
