Meritline.com Verified Buyer I own Foscam, Foscam-clone and D-Link webcams, so I am familiar with how these should generally behave. As others noted, this unit does not have infrared, so it cannot see in the dark. This was not a deal-breaker for me as I was more interested in the higher resolution picture it offers. When the unit is working, the picture is quite good, but it is noticeably more noisy doing pan/tilt than the Foscam's. However, I am experiencing repeated issues with this particular unit. If/when it successfully gets a DHCP address over wi-fi, the picture often freezes in some location during the boot-up pan/tilt phase - the same happens if I set it to a static IP address. I'm hoping this unit is defective, I'll be contacting Meritline next to see if I can get another.
