Just how much heat did you rocket scientists expect to get from a standard 2.5 watt (5v x 0.5A) USB port? I calculate about 8.5 BTUs per hour. A regular hair dryer gets about 500 times as many watts, so why are you surprised that your USB-powered cup warmer only makes about 1/500th as much heat as a hair dryer?

I am not a rocket scientist, I am just one of those people that expect a product to do what it says. This was very dissappointing, it will not keep your cup warm at all. Do not waste your money.

Total junk(I can think of worse words). Plugged it in, no light on toggle switch. Finally felt a touch of warm, but my hand is warmer than it gets. Also has a sticker on the box, "This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm". Would have been nice of Meritline to test the products they sell, and disclose things that are that important. STAY AWAY!

As a retailer selling or distributing products in the State of California, Meritline.com must comply with the California law known as Proposition 65, which requires that products may contain certain chemicals be labeled to notify consumers of the presence of such chemicals. If you are interested to know more about the Proposition 65, please see our FAQ section http://www.meritline.com/t-faq.aspx#qa1932

Does not work well at all. There is one small “hot spot” at the edge of the platform where the cord is attached (!) and the rest is cool to the touch. No way does it keep anything even tepid. Costs more to return than I paid for it. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Works fine. Could keep coffee hotter, but at the price, who can complain?
