These work great! I think that other reviewer needs fresh batteries. I control my window fan and a set of fluorescent black lights from mine... works every time I push the buttons! Much higher quality than I expected.

These are very convenient when they work but only work about half of the time, ususlly requiring the button to be pressed multipe times and holding the remote very close to the receivers.

Very good, no problems. I use it as a help systems for sick wife. Hooked a 110 volt warming sound that goes off when needed. Can hear throughout the neighborhood. Save a dollar a day when not using "help I fallening."

Works every time, even from one side of the house to the other, and from the first floor to the second. It doesn't come with a battery, for the remote, but they amazingly inexpensive, on a differnt popular shopping site. The controller will only toggle, the on/off state of the reciever. So, if you can't see the result of turning on the device, you have to just hope it worked correctly (since pushing the button again, would just turn it off). But, it's always worked correctly, so it hasn't been a problem.

This product is very useful. If you don't feel like unplugging your electronics or appliances, this will solve your problem. One simple touch, either press the button on the device or use the remote to control on and off. The only thing is it doesn't include battery. I recommend go to radio shack and buy 12V 23A. It cost around $8.00 and it comes with 2 batteries.

Works perfectly for me. We use it to control a fireplace on one side of the bedroom and a desk lamp on the opposite side. The buttons work the first time, every time. I even tested it outside of the bedroom with the door closed, and in the adjoining bathroom. Be advised that it requires a 23A battery, which most US households don't have laying around. I missed that in the specs.

Works as advertised. I have my stereo receiver from across the room plugged into one AC unit so I can turn the receiver on or off when listening to music from my computer. I have to aim the remote carefully -- as another reviewer wrote I also have to sometimes press the button a couple of times -- but it beats getting up and turning the receiver on or off manually, especially for the low price of the two units. I may hook the second AC unit to my printer -- also across the room -- to turn that on and off remotely. Definitely worth the price!

Very Handy! Works exactly as described, no problems whatsoever. Remote has excellent range. Plug it in, plug in your electronic device, put a battery in the remote, and you are done!
