Meritline.com Verified Buyer If you own a Canon DSLR and like to shoot Macro like me, you have got to get this tube! It's very light for a metal tube and really does work 8 different ways, with all rings connected to my 18 - 55mm lens, I was able to focus in on a lizard at just 3/4 inches and shot him with his eyes wide open and looking at me, I could even see my reflection in his eyes!! Fantastic yube, I'm going to order another one....

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Metal construction, reasonably strong and stable. Mounts firmly to camera body. Keep in mind there is no electronic connection to the camera, so you lose both autofocus and aperture control - no depth of field. Using all tubes, I was able to take a close up of a ladybug, but the DoF was so shallow that only the front of her body was sharp. That's a very tiny focus range, but with great bokeh, lol! So great for shooting flat or nearly flat surfaces, not so great for focus range, but considering the price, a great deal. Perhaps a stepping stone to the Canon product ($139, and only one ring, about half or less as long).
