I love these lights. I bought three of them and will buy more if they go on sale again. You cannot beat the quality of the light and price combo. I use them in the full length mode, they are nice and hefty. In the vehicle they make a pretty good self defense weapon. I used one on a drunk that was trying to start a fight with me and he went down like a stone. No damage at all to the light.

This is a well made flashlight with an 1/8" thick aluminum body made in three pieces so that you can have a smaller (2 AA cell) light or a larger longer lasting (4 AA cell) light. Each section has an o ring to make it water tight. (I have not tested it's water tight capabilities)It does have a bright beam however the beam is relatively small. Overall I would rate it an excellent buy.

extremely bright on first usage. HOWEVER, the barrel design is 15mm too short to fit all 4 batteries!!! it actually crushes them into it when you try to tighten the spring loaded end cap. my flashlight lasted 2 minutes then poppep and died completely.

The first one I ordered melted the reflector then stopped working. My replacement has continued working for a week now, but has melted the reflector close to the LED. I'm using 4 NIMH aa batteries. The light still shines... but the melted part of the reflector acts more like a diffuser and there's a black hole in the center of the beam that takes up about 1/3rd of the area of the bright circle of light it used to project:(

GREAT FLASHLIGHT... WOW, talk about OVER impressed. this thing is BRIGHT. I have tons of flashlights including some expensive ones and it's every bit as bright as my $200 lights. very nice, worth every penny and then some

This is truly the flashlight for the long haul. I have purchased three of these now. I originally purchased one for my self hoping to find a replacement for the Mags I have always purchased. My wife and father both took a liking for it so I had to order two more.

Fantastic flashlight. I have purchased a lot of flashlights, for work, hunting, play, and gifts. I have kinda settled for the standard 3D cell Maglights. They are a reliable bright all use flashlight, but this flashlight is utterly fantastic. It is brighter which doesn't make a lot of sense when you consider it takes 4 AA batteries instead of the 3D cell M.It requires less space as far as the diameter, so it fits better in my hand. When I lay it down it doesn't roll away. And did I say it is very bright? I will purchase more of these. The only problem I found and really it isn't a problem, more of a preference, was it has a strobe setting that I will probably not use. O ya its really bright.

I bought several of these some came with right extension tube lengths some came to short by 1/8 in. never the less very bright, brighter than the 1200 lumen T6-5 I Just bought by 5 or 6 times inaccurate lumen measurement or changing the way they measure ?
