Meritline.com Verified Buyer I just received this item. I wanted to use it as an extension so that I don't wear out the socket on my HDMI laptop port. I have been watching internet content via the laptop to my LCD tv. Anyhow, I can't get this to work at the standard resolution that works with my HDMI cable. I think it defaults to 1366 by 768. Doesn't work now, but I'll test lower resolution later. Seems like a solid item, but direct swap out testing with this item or just the cable indicate higher resolutions don't work.
