You have to put in and take out the batteries every time you use it- no on off switch!

This is not a good item, its not giving the correct weight. For the same bag its giving different weight in KG and LB. I try that with my Bag and in KG its 5.03 KG but in LB is 3.5 LB. I had another weight machine and as per that the correct weight of same bag is 4.2lb.

The scale was not properly made and the accuracy is too bad.it is showing extra 1 kgs sometime and sometime showing very less values.it is completly not reliable.

This is a very useful item for mailing family items, using Priority Mail, for example or for weighting luggage before travel. Accuracy is very adequate for such use.

Works well weighing in either pounds (lbs/oz) or grams/kilos. I've used it to measure and weigh fish, foods, and other heavier equipment (up to 80 lbs.) I tested it using olypic weights, from 5 to 50 lbs., and it seems to be quite accurate. The calculator function (or price) is nifty, as you can use it to convert between units if you know the conversion. It keeps time and temp, however time is 24hr display and temp is only in Celcius. It also doesn't turn off.

Works well. I like that I can change between different measurements (eg pounds, kilograms). It holds the weight once it is stabilized and will also do tare. Good for the price and portable. Good weight range. I am also using it for travel (the weight of the suitcases).
