"...do not touch your mouth directly." Too late for me to see it on the web. It should have a big warning label near the inlet. That aside, the product is ridiculously toy-like. Worst product I have got from Meritline.

Have bought a few items from this site and most are good value (XSi remote, e.g.). This item is not so. The filer is just a plain plastic sheet(unless I receive a defect) and poorly made, and it is just too big for EX430 II. I also tried out the "Flash Diffuser Universal for All Brand Canon Nikon Pentax Item Number 169-275-001", which turns out to be OK. It is small and easy to carry. The front "filter" panel is reasonablly effective - The picture looks as if I bound the light to the ceiling.

The diffuser is not bad for what it is. It is easy to install and use and has decent results. It does not say it online, but the diffuser is inflatable.

I think it does what it's supposed to do... It's simple, and cheap... Can't ask for much more.

Pinch the fill tube to open it for inflating. This is a trick that has been around for many years. It makes it easier to fill without the air escaping. It does diffuse a bit but is more beneficial with close walls and low ceilings for a bounce effect.

I had no problem inflating it. You just need a long nozzle to push open the inner cap. But like NK said, it's not secure at all. And, it doesn't diffuse the light! The light goes right through the thin layer of plastic in the front. Besides a little color tint, you can't really distinguish the flash pictures with and without this thing. What a waste.

John and Herb, I bought this and thought the same way. But in fact, on the inflating tube, there is a smallbump which you press while inflating the bag. It works great. Try it again. My problem is it is very hard to fit on the flash and can fall off anytime though there is nothing there to break.

It's just an inflatable bag that can't be infalted. The inflation tube is solid. It's a $6 throw-away.

The inflation tube was a SOLID piece of plastic with no way to inflate the unit.
