Meritline.com Verified Buyer Very Slim, very light weight. It does turn the iPad off when covered. The external "skin" is like rubber or latex, so it is nice that it is non-slip. When I first received the cover, I carried it around in a cargo pocket for about twelve hours and a corner of the skin peeled away; but it repaired well enough with a little glue. I would buy it again for the discount price. It is decent protection for the corners because of the plastic frame.
