Got this as a late present for someone, to our dismay, it does not work. Batteries in, tried 4 different sets of batteries, it does not operate. Looking into returning the item.

Update: Customer service has sent another one of these free of charge. The customer service has been in contact with me which is exceptional. The only downfall is that now I have to wait for it all over again. But a + for customer service and solutions.

I received 2 items, both dead on arrival. I was told by customer service that I had to pay to ship them back to Meritline ($6.50) to get replacement items sent. They say a new one will be sent within 7 business days of when they receive it. If I were you, I wouldn't bother to order unless you don't mind shipping a DOA product back at your expense.

Received item package looked like it had been delivered somewhere before, The item did not work at all. Junk. Cost more than it was worth to return it.
