Meritline.com Verified Buyer Installed in my car, and about 3 weeks later the socket that holds the bulb got melted. Now I have to spend $20 for a new socket and $79.50 at the Saab dealer on labor to have them solder it together....

Bought several of these as a cheap alternative to the name brands for an '05 Subaru Outback that seems to go through headlights way too fast. Compared to a Sylvania or Philips-brand bulb that lasts ~7 months on average and costs around US$20 when I get bent over at a brick-and-mortar store, these last around 2 months on average but cost less than $3. Strictly speaking, a better deal long-term money-wise, but still annoying that they don't last any longer.
