The 3x1 HDMI mini switcher routes high definition video (in multiple resolutions up to 1080p) and digital audio from any one of the three sources to display unit. Three inputs accommodate the simultaneous connection of up to three high definition video sources, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display. Aside from the manual switching, the switching can also done via the IR remote that is provided with the unit for added convenience. The compact design eliminates the bulk of an HDMI switcher while still having the same functionality.

This is a follow up to my 4/22/09 review. The Unit worked perfectly for about a Month and a half. Now it can't seem to "lock-in" on the signal when it tries to switch to the unit that is powered on (screen keeps flickering). I plugged all units directly into my TV and they all worked. So it must be the switcher. The return policy basically says I'm screwed (can't return). At least I got 3 cables out of the deal.

automatically switches to most used device without having to use remote, automatically switches to say ps3 or xbox or whatever you have hooked up when you turn that device on! great little switcher

Fantastic little switch, does exactly as described! No need to even use the remote as the switch automatically detects what component you are using (i.e. HD cable box, Blu-Ray, PS3, XBox, etc.) when you turn it on and then switches back after turning it off. The picture is HD quality and looks great. The small design lets you hide it behind your set-up without ever being noticed. The 3 HDMI cables Meritline.com adds makes this a steal for the price. Would recommend to everyone!

This unit works great. It works with my Directv HR-20 receiver and passes all codes (HDCP). Great buy from Meritline.

Truly awesome! Very small, it hides behind the TV. I'm running my PS3 and DVD-Recorder through it, works great. I love the auto switching too. Service was good too, only took a week to get from CA to OH.

Just as described. Works great. Tested @ 1920x1200, and screen showed no visible (to the eye) degredation. It has a port for a 5V power suppply (not included). The manual states that external power is required to auto-switch, but I have not seen that. It appears to switch to the current activating input without the need for a supply; odd. I wonder what spending $100+ on a swithcer buys you, other than possibly more ports, maybe a more pure signal, or faster switching times. If you are on a budget, this little unit works perfectly, so far.

I have a 4 year old 65" projection HDTV. It only has one HDMI input. With this device I can now hook up three HDMI components (HD Cable, DVD with upconversion, a PS3). This thing works great. I like they way it switches automatically (once a unit is power on). The fact that it comes with all the cables is outstanding. If you have a older HDTV like me, this is a must buy!!!!

I bought this for someone who has a 360, PS3, and DirecTV receiver, but only one HDMI input on their TV. You can imagine what a pain that is. I ordered on Friday, and got it on Tuesday. I then installed it, which only took maybe 5 minutes, thanks to the included cables. All inputs work perfectly, with no distortion or signal loss, and best of all, no getting up to switch anymore.

So far it works great. I have it connected to a 42" Sony Bravia tv for my Dish HDTV DVR, PS3, and minidisplay port for a Macbook Pro. Automatically switches with a minimal delay and without needing external power. No loss in quality and it's really convenient that 3 HDMI cables are also included.

Just received and hooked it up, and it's great! Running my cable DVR and PS3 to my one lowly HDMI port on my TV, and it's working flawlessly. The priority auto-switching works great, and though it has an input for a power adapter, it operates fine without it.

I have a 22" HDMI monitor that I use with XBOX 360 and Dell laptop. The 'autoswitch' function works great (whenever I turn my XBOX on, the screen displays XBOX and laptop restores to single monitor and when I turn my XBOX off, my laptop goes to dual-display). Fast shipping also :)

This is a great little gadget, worked like a charm.Easy to set up, does not even require a power source...would highly reccomend it to all you guys that have an older flat screen with one HDMI connection. Price was also a big plus..

Works as advertised. I'm only using 2 of the 3 inputs. Automatically switches to the device which is powered on. I have it stashed behind my equipment because I don't need to use the manual switch. However, the switch is a nice feature to have. Excellent value.

This product is great. I have not had any problems. It is by far the best price on the market. Anywhere else you can pay this much for just the 3 hdmi cables. The devices switches singles automatically after sensing a new input and as soon as you turn the new input off reverts back to the original input. It is fantastic.
