The description of this item is a bit misleading. The cable included with this product cannot be used to charge your iPod/iPhone. It can only be used to sync your iPod/iPhone with your computer for data transfer. I find it very odd and a bit deceiving that the cable sold with a home wall charger cannot be used to charge. If your primary reason for purchase was charging your iPod/iPhone, look elsewhere. That was my primary reason and the reason why I rated this item as "Poor." I already received a refund from Meritline.com for my purchase.

The AC charger does not charge choosing instead to put up a message "Charging not supported by this accessory" on your iPhone. The USB charger is iffy -your phone charges sometimes, you get the "not supported" message other times.

The product worked about a week, then quit working. It was only $5, but hey! I expected more than a week.....

Plugs are made to wide, so they have to be forced into an electrical socket. Once in the product works fine. Would return/exchange, but would cost more in postage than I paid for wall charger.

hard to plug into the wall. the measurement is not exactly correct But after you plugged in with full force, it works.

This product is awesome. its really worthless to buy expensive Apple accessories if you have cheap and best options available on meritline. All iphone users are well aware of the fact that the battery of iphone 3g and 3gs is not up to the mark. It is always better to keep 1 battery charger in your car, 1 in your office and one at home but not at apples price. Thanks to meritline for such alternatives.

I have had much success from Meritline in the past, but this product is absolute JUNK. I should add that it appears to charge my iPhone 3GS; however, the screen becomes jumpy and irresponsive when plugged into the wall charger and is nearly impossible to get the touch screen to respond with your touch. I would NOT recommend this cheap chinese crap at all. This is such a poor product that it has convinced me to find my electronic accessories elsewhere.

I received the product in condition. But when I tried to plug in my IPOD, I am not able to , with a struggle, if I pulg it in, I am not able to remove it from the ipod. I won't be using it. From now on, I may think of ordering anything from meritline again. thanks Shan

perfect - everything as described. I actually use this as a spare usb charger for my blackberry. it works great!!

It took almost a month to get the charger as it is shipped from abroad The charger is working fine. The cable does not fit and it broke. Luckily we are using it with teh cable that came with I-Pod touch.

Nice customer service..asked for order status and responded in just 2 hrs...but took about 4weeks to get the product..very poor processing of order.
