Just what I was looking for. A quality extra-long cable. This is working perfectly and is charging both my iPhone4s and my 3rd gen iPad perfectly.

The cables work fine, but note that cable longer than 3' won't charge Ipad 2, 3 or 4, the longer cable has more resistance and can't deliver the same power as the shorter one, and will put your device into "Not Charging" mode. You can charge it by turning the device completely off, and it will charge, but likely at a slower rate.

The iPad connector is fine, but what I really like is the 7 foot USB extension cord that will add utility to a variety of connectors.
