I used this to replace the original-equipment bulb in the trunk of my car. The original bulb was about as bright as a tea light candle, which seems to be pretty common these days. This LED panel produces much more light and is quite well diffused as well, so it illuminates the entire trunk area. I gave this item only four stars because the connectors and their wires are quite flimsy. You'll want to be careful not to bend them too much. Also, pay no attention to the wire colors as they may not indicate the correct polarity. Just plug the adapter into the original bulb socket and if the panel doesn't light, unplug the adapter, give it a half-turn and plug it in again.
