Did not charge my iPhone 3G. Plugs in and shows chargning, except the meter goes backward. Very disappointed.

when i received the item, it didnt charge my 3g iphone. the phone would show the battery as if it was charging, but the battery life would not increase. as soon as i unplugged it (even after a night on the charger) it would drop down to where it started when i put it on the charger. called and had another one sent to me, and had the same problem. be careful when buying items that are made for all iphones and ipods.
