According so many positive feedback, I gave it a try. Actually, it is really disappointed. It is bright, but also painful. Someone did mention you have to unscrew the cap to make it work sometimes. For the one I received I need to unscrew the cap and re-tight it few times for every using. It looks well built, but not really working well. I don't recommend this product unless you want the trouble.

This light is terrible. The switch contacts are bad. It comes on occasionally and goes off or changes modes while using it. It goes off while using it and leaves you in the dark. Sometimes, I can't get it to come on without unscrewing and fiddling with the connectors. The LED is awesome and the case is nice aluminum. I love that it is small and runs a long time on a single AA battery instead of using 3 AAA batteries like so many other lights. But, an unreliable flashlight is a nuisance at best; or a life-threatening danger at worst. Don't buy this light.

Overall, very good value. Extremely bright, but battery life gets drain very quick. It was about 1hr for me.

The light itself is well made and functions as described. The plating on the individual components (tail cap, barrel, and bezel) is not well matched and the various components vary in color from dark olive to black. The lights I received also appear to have been assembled incorrectly at the factory. They function better if you reverse the bezel and tail cap to the opposite ends of the barrel. Despite the short comings it is still a great little light for the money.
