Meritline.com Verified Buyer This was my latest favorite flashlight. So I bought more. One of the new ones arrived flakey (light would go out until you smack it a few times). Later, one of the previously working ones developed this same condition. No longer my favorite.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer PRO: As bright as my Smith & Wesson 5W Luxeon Tactical LED! Amazing performace for such a small light running on a single AA. Seems well constructed too. Striking it while ON doesn't cause any intermittence. CON: For me, I'd rather not have the other 2 modes, as they hinder its ability to be used as a tactical light, since it sequences to the next mode if you power it ON/OFF within 10 seconds (otherwise, it resets to BRIGHT mode). NOTE: The cap/switch doesn't really glow bright enough to promote finding it in the dark. RECOMMENDED for the $.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I had the same trouble. Flashlight wouldn't work without messing around unscrewing the ends. I found what worked for me. Wipe the threads (both male and female) of both ends of flashlight with a cloth. I think they used a lubricant to cut the threads and this an both ends and it should work. Al

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Great product. The flashlight was given to me by a friend, could not believe how bright the light was. I use it when taking my blind dog out at the yard at night. Comes in really handy for spotting dog messes! Have given the flashlight to each of my 3 children, they were impressed also. The 3 modes work great, the strobe light that flickers could be used as a distress signal when on the water at night. Highly recommended.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Third one I've ordered. No problems with the first two, this one is unreliable. Light turns off on it's own. Changes modes on it's own. Very frustrating.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I guess I got lucky, mine works fine right out the box, did had to remove the the cap once, but overall it works fine, don't plan to drop it anytime soon! Got a great deal at $8.00 shipped, what else can you ask for! Will look out for the next sale, seems price went up after my purchase, was listed as $8.99 regular sale price, now it's $11.69 as regular sale price (without coupon code) I guess by popular demands... but so much negative reviews, Meritline still increased the base price!? Oh Well...
