Meritline.com Verified Buyer Great solution for Kinect mounting above the TV. I had to add almost 2" of foam padding the back, as this mount would not close to hold on to my thin LED TV. I suggest looking into the newer model of this on Meritline.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer First some dimensions: If you look at the side view pic, the front lip on the left side is 1", the distance between there and the back piece on the right is 4", and the back piece is 6". I wasn't able to use it as intended (so can't rate it along those lines) because my TV is about 4.5" thick. I was able to wedge the back piece of the mount between the wall mount bracket that bolts to the TV and the back of the TV itself, then bend the mount a bit, and that holds it secure on the top of the TV. The part that holds the Kinect base does a good job, it's not coming out easily.
