Works as advertised. Note: this is for laptop (2.5") drives. Has tiny status and activity LED's, no drivers required. Speed was normal for USB 2.0.

Do not buy this, it won't work on 3.5-in hard drive because itself didn't have enough power for the hard drive. It works only for 2.0 to 2.5" HDD.

This item dosen't work, when I connect to the drive then put it to the USB my desktop or laptop. Why?

Remember, this is ONLY for laptop hard drives, 2.5". It WILL NOT WORK with 3.5" as it doesn't have the power to run that drive. I gave mine to the IT guy at work, I had no use for it...
