Best outdoor thermometer out of the 5 or 6 I have had. And by far. For best results you should mount it on a window on the north side of the house (in the shade).

Fell off the window several times. Unable to read the temp when it was on the window. Remounted it on glass door still fell off. The readings were off 6-9 degrees.

This the second one for me, the first on worked for two year. It's a gread product when it works, the numbers are very easy to read, even when it's still dark in the early morning. It comes with a battery. Since it is installed outside, if the manufacturer can improve water proofing, it might last longer, either way, it's a product worthing having.

This is the exactly kind of outdoor thermometer I need, but I won't know until spring about its accuracy. I want to wait for warmer weather to prep the window before applying the adhesive tape. Some have complained that the device's proximity to the window surface influences the temperature & makes the it inaccurate.

I got three of these on sale for $9.95. Having read the other reviews, I removed the adhesive that came with the product and substituted the 3M locking adhesive used to mount EZ Pass to my car windshield. It worked well and slightly increased the depth of the thermometer from the glass for better temperature readings. I am very pleased with the results so far.

Got this one on sale for $9.95. It's an excellent device. The temperature is spot-on. The LCD screen is easy to read from a distance. I own two... One at home and one at work. I recommend this thermometer.

I ordered two. They both work as advertised, and they're pretty slick. But three downsides: 1: The measure the temperature of the air very close to the window. It became quite apparent to me that, in winter, this can be very much warmer than the real outside temperature, even with my thermopane windows. 2. If the sun shines on it, it goes way high as you would expect, and is not anywhere close to real air temperature. 3. You see through this, the digits are dark and the background just the light outside the window. Since it is dark at night outside, and the digits are dark, it is impossible to read at night. If I were doing it again, I'd buy a remote reading thermometer, or two.

Excellent product. Easy to install and I had no problem with the provided adhesive strips reported in other reviews. Be sure to mount it high enough so you can see it at eye level. Works great.

Very useful device for putting on window or storm door. Have not had to change the batteries for over a year now.

unit is hard to read unless it is in direct view. Very slow to temp changes and really not very accurate. Pass on this item!!
