This is a great device. It shows the max and min temperatures for the last 24 hours. WARNING: The adhesive on the two tapes is weak. After two weeks, the adhesive gave way and the unit fell. Luckily, it felt four feet onto an awning. Otherwise, it would have shattered into pieces. SUGGESTION: Replace the two adhesives with one long piece of double sided adehsive tape.

I really liked this thermometer until it fell off the window and broke after only 2 months. It seemed to be accurate enough. If you buy this, do not use the adhesive included. Use some kind of epoxy or very strong glue to glue it to your window so it won't fall off. And yes, I had cleaned the area very well as instructed before sticking it to the window, but that wasn't enough. Two words...strong glue!

Overall very nice, temperature seems to be a couple of degrees off in the lower temps (for example, it might really be 35 outside, but it displays 38 or so), seems fine at more 'normal' temps

Love it! Installed on the stationary side of my patio door, (which is always in the shade.) Very easy to read, (during daylight hours,) and I love the hi and low of the day memory. Would buy again.

Good buy -- works as advertised. Though I'm wondering now if attaching it to a window doesn't affect the temperature reading.

I ordered two. They both work as advertised, and they're pretty slick. But three downsides: 1: The measure the temperature of the air very close to the window. It became quite apparent to me that, in winter, this can be very much warmer than the real outside temperature, even with my thermopane windows. 2. If the sun shines on it, it goes way high as you would expect, and is not anywhere close to real air temperature. 3. You see through this, the digits are dark and the background just the light outside the window. Since it is dark at night outside, and the digits are dark, it is impossible to read at night. If I were doing it again, I'd buy a remote reading thermometer, or two.

The digital thermometer was delivered on time with no issues. It operates as advertised and I am very pleased with its performance. In the future I will order products again from Meritline when the need arises.

Looked good in the picture but the #'s in the picture are a sticker that peels off when you go to use it. I made a mounting bracket so I wouldn't have the tape issue, and mounting it on the bottom of my window sash....I have to view it at an angle to see the numbers. Tried several batteries, but the numbers are washed out and hard to read in the daylight. Forgetaboutit at night, or early morning b4 the sun comes up. I have to use a flashlight to see the outside temp. Should have spent my $ buying a good-old-fashioned analogue 1.

I like the big display and the smart design of hanging on the outside of window. A very good buy!
