product arrived in a very short period of time. construction is solid. the battery already had enough of an initial charge that i was able to set the time and also verify that all radio bands picked up a signal. the hand crank feels much more sturdy than other items i've owned with a hand crank. when the radio stopped playing, i hand cranked for 1 minute but did not get the 30 minutes of juice the instructions stated i should - this could be for many reasons, volume output, consistency speed while cranking, etc. have not tried to charge a device yet, so cannot write about that. all in all, feel i got my money's worth.

Really looked good until: 1. Several hours of direct sunlight gave only a few hours of listening even with the radio off while charging. 2. The radio had to be cranked so often the handle hinge broke, not popped loose, BROKE! Now no cranking can be done. Cranking did not give much time just like sun charging. 3. The only way to get long term radio was to hook up a charging cable from a USB port with a USB to USB mini cable (which is not included). At least the radios all did work when the battery was charged. This was a very disappointing product.
