I bought this for a friend living on a boat. He's been struggling with OTA reception for some time... channels come and go, but seldom lock long enought to get through an entire show or sports event. The LAVA HD-600 picked up a lot of channels, more than the previous aerial had, and better yet, it kept them locked. We're in San Diego, and the antenna is pikcing up around 35 stations, 15 of which are Spanish langauge stations from Tijuana. The indoor/outdoor aspect of this antenna as well as it's small size makes it ideal for use on boats (and RV's). Great price, no complaints.

Where I live I only get two stations but the price was very reasonable.

Not much different than rabbit ears. Extremely position sensitive indoors. Mine may have come with a loose wire, as sometimes if I adjust it, it looses the signal by just touching it.

Reception was OK for indoor use, however I have not tried it outside my window. This most likely will improve the signal to a more acceptable level. Nicely built and I recommend this antenna for anyone that wants improved reception.

Works worse than the homemade antenna I made with cloths hangers. When it heats up from the sun, half the channels disapear.

It's didn't work any better than my unamplified rabit ears. I feel like I wasted by money. Don't buy it.

A piece of crap my pencil can bring in more stations.

The antenna works well. I got about six channels in central Texas. The cables are plenty long enough to set the antenna any where in the room. It was smaller than I expected it to be.
