    6 LEDs Auto-sensing Lamp with 3 Timer Settings

    This 6 LED light features an IR sensor that lights up when other light sources go out. The light sensitivity is adjustable, as well as the brightness of the LEDs and for how long they stay lit! Great for places you only need a little light for a short while, like closets, walkways, garages, or other dark rooms!

    This auto-sensing LED lamp is powered by four "AAA" batteries and features a removable back plate than can be screw mounted to almost anywhere! Put a burst of light where it needs to be with this 6 LED IR Auto-Sensing Lamp.

The lamp did not work when Costco Kirkland batteries were installed because the positive side knob that protrudes to make contact is not long enough for the battery holder. Using duracells, contact was made and the light worked well. The light is bright enough and the timer is perfect for the food closet it is being used in. The motion sensor works well.

The product works well as advertised and I would recommend it anyone who needs a closet light or security light for a remote area. It takes 4 AAA batteries so it should last a long time in between changes. Meritline did mess up on the delivery as it shipped separately from the rest of the order and I received no notice, but finally did get it.

I ordered 3 of them and they are great! You can sec the time to stay on and the brightness. I put them in the bathroom for my kids who can't reach the night switch. They also come with a base that sticks to the wall, but I haven't needed it. They've been running for over a month with no problems.

Bright enough in dark. Motion detect works good in dark too. Batteries connection has contact problem. You have to put a piece of foil in between otherwise it has no power.

Meant to be used as a tent light but I am using it in my safe. Works great when the door is opened the light comes on and I can now see what I am looking for without a flashlight. Shuts itself off about 10 seconds after I shut the door. Good delivery, works great!

I did not want to go to the expense of wiring under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. I purchased 6 of these are have set them for motion sensor. They work awesome. I love them. I can walk into the kitchen at night and they light up as I walk through. They work great!

For less than $10 you can have light where you need it. These lights run on four AA batteries and really work well. On time is brief, just 20 seconds to 1 minute unless you keep moving. Brightness is adjustable. Mounting is with two screws, double-sided tape, or a magnet. Not weather-proof.

To add to last review.... For those of you who have DOA lamps, use duracells with the long positive side knob. The battery holder keeps the positive side of many batteries from making contact because of a plastic shroud.

Motion sensing is excellent, timing option is also quite good. It gives enough lights so when stingy landlord turns off all hall lights I dont kill myself falling down the steps.

Mine came DOA but upon close examination I found that one of the batteries was not making contact due to the plastic spacer. A little bit of foil folded over to fill the space solved the problem and it works great.

This light is amazing, the sensor works so well, even in the dark. I put it in a closet and it's bright enough to see. The setting 20s, 60s, 90s work as designed. Now, some of the units I ordered didn't work, but the Meritline service department responded and solved the problems quickly. Look people. There is a plastic spacer inside the battery box that prevents the positive tip of the battery from touching the contact. It is a small space, hard to see. One of the two middle battery's. Just fill the space with foil and you are good to go. I came back for my second one because I love the first one. Nice and bright and works every time.

VERY USEFUL PRODUCT. BOUGHT MANY OF THESE--USING AS NIGHT AND CELLAR STAIRWAY LIGHTS, AND ON REFRIGERATOR DOOR. ONE OF MY OLDER MODELS JUST FAILED. This lamp is great for use as a night light in the hall and bathroom; I use 2 of these so I can close the house lights and if my kids need the restroom at night it will light the way for the whole trip and for the restroom itself.

This item functioned for ~3.5 hrs and then developed a short that caused the batteries to become so hot they burned my fingers when I removed them. What a shame, this is just what I was looking for and it did a good job in day light and very good when it got dark. It just did no last long before going defective. I caught it before it got hot enough to deform the plastic housing, but it was not for from doing so as the plastic was just starting to gas from the heat. I will try a replacement if Meritline offers to send one. But I will keep a much closer eye on the next one.' I got two and they both work fine. They're bright enough for navigating a dark closet at night. The output level and light sensitivity level are adjustable. They seem to "see" their own light and turn off for a couple seconds, though; I have them mounted at the ceiling near a wall. Still a good value.

Nice size and portability, but I purchased these units because they're the only ons rated to stay on for more than 30 seconds. They're supposed to work for 90 seconds, but only stay lit for about 20.

I have purchased a few of these over the past year. Some were DOA and a waster. They must have done some improvement to the product as I have purchased a bunch recently and all worked perfectly. Still not sure how they can sell them so cheap. Great for lighting the occassional area or as a night light. Built in adjustable brightness and timer duration switches. Overall a great value for the money!

Works well, but very picky as to batteries. Had to go through about a dozen new batteries from same bulk box of batteries to find four that worked with this light. Batteries all showed high charge on battery tester, but only a select few worked in this light. When it works it is great, especially at night when you would rather not search for light switches. Lasts several weeks of frequent use on a set of batteries.

I almost passed on these based on some of the bad reviews. To date I have ordered a total of 6 of these lights. Every one of them worked fine! Not only is the sensitivity adjustable but the brightness as well. I have them in closets and I am very satisfied. I have seen brighter but at 3 times the price of these. When on sale these are a great value.

Bought at $5.99. it's about half the size I expected (3" wide) but it's super bright and the motion sensor is extremely sensitive. Using as an automatic closet light. Came back to buy several more but price is now $10.99 so I'm just leaving a review for now.

I've bought these things before (from a different merchant) and they rock! Adjustable brightness, adjustable room-light sensitivity, multiple time values, optinal magnetic mount, and incredible battery life. I give these as gifts even.

Meritline has these on sale sometimes. When they do, buy,buy,buy. I've installed them in all my family's doors (between the storm door and the main house door, pointing down. Result: never fumble for keys again. Note they are not weatherproof, but seem to work well in that condition. ONE SUGGESTION FOR MERITLINE: how about selling it in white or other colors?

I purchased three of these and none of them work at all. A really bad product

I don't know how well it works, product received was DOA. Shipping it back is going to cost more than buying a new one.
