From the description, I really didn't know what to expect. Obviously, this isn't a 17 W flashlight, but it is a very bright cree LED which runs on 3 AA batteries (my guess is around 3 watts). It is nicely made though my only criticism is that it doesn't appear to be weather sealed (no o-rings, etc.) Nonethless it has a dual purpose as a conventional flashlight and as a bike mounted one. The mount seems secure, the flashlight slides in and out easily, and we'll have to see how it and the LED hold up. Additionally, the flashlight has a nice carrying strap and offers two modes - continuous and flashing. On sale, this was less than $6.00 - a great deal in my book if it lasts.

Pretty nice durable bike lights. I rode with them last week and they seem to cast a visible 2 ft wide beam at about 10 feet. There is a wider beam that gives a faint illumination at about 100 degrees wide. Pretty nice for biking through a tunnel. Though this light is not as strong as my Cree lights, it should have a longer battery life. I like.

These boxes are GREAT! They are tough plastic that are translucent enough to read the labels off the drive. They can be a bit snugly but i didn't have a problem getting a drive in or out. The only issue I see is that the hinge has a finite lifetime and will eventually snap off. That will be quite a while though. Great value and I will buy more. BTW, one of three arrived broken so they are not indestructible.

Absolute junk... waited three weeks for the bike headlight to be delivered. Once it arrived it lasted about five minutes from the time I turned it on. It started flashing in both modes, then the LED dimmed so far it was basically useless. Now its totally dead. Total chinese crap... dont waste your money.

This light is really easy to install or uninstall and to take out of the mount to just use as a flashlight. I don't know if it's because the batteries were fresher but this light is actually brighter than my Princeton Tec Fuel headlamp which puts out about 43 lumens. However, like the other reviewers, this light doesn't seem waterproof. Also, I don't like that I have to go through the strobe option to turn off the light every time.

Good for the price. The handle bar mount is reasonably sturdy and the light is easy to remove. It works well on or off the bike. The button is easy to push with gloved hands.
