I highly recommend anyone who needs a flashlight and runs out of charge on cellphone once in a while to buy one. First, it uses AA battery (which stores twice the energy than AA for the same price), and it backs up your cellphone. For me, I use my PC to charge my RAZR through USB cable. But the PC can not recognize the phone if it is not on. This flashlight is handy to charge my RAZR to turn my phone on for my PC to charge it.

very bright, well built, looks cool, easy to carry, and it charges my cell phone (with standard mini-USB port) just fine! only thing bad, the little metal ring of the charging port is loose

This is an unexpectedly well-made device. The flashlight feels solid and the connection to the phone charger is not loose. The lanyard is a nice little touch so I can hang it within my computer bag and not have to rummage through all the wires and cable to find it.
