At 332 lumens, that makes it a little less bright than a 35W incandescent bulb which is 350 lumens.

Good bright light, seems just right for indoor video. My indoor shots now don't have to be grainy. Even though my shoe is offset, still no shadows even with close shots (< 2 feet). A bunch of LEDs beats a single lamp for better diffusion and less heat. Of course, it's distracting for human subjects, but that's not the fault of the product. Great value.

It took a long time to arrive. It seems bright enough but I wonder if the orange filter is really 3200K temp because it doesn't look like warm light like a halogen for example. It looks orange like someone would use it at a Halloween party.

Family photographer here...this is great product, does what I had longed for but hadn't found in other lighting products for the camera. I recommend this unit for very good lighting of the subject human or otherwise. I like the yellow cover for humans because it give a sunlight hue without washing out. The clear cover works best for objects like quilts and needlepoint to bring out the true colors of the threads. I'm looking to the larger version for the camcorder that will offer larger room photograpy.
