The sound activated equalizer bars jump and flash in time to the music wherever you are, combining retro-cool with up to the minute digital technology. The T-Shirt has a built-in graphic equalizer with a wide spectrum sensor controller to detect the true rhythm, frequency and beat of music. Eye-popping Display! This animates the ultra-thin electro luminescence panel in the chest for an eye-popping display as the equalizer bars light up and respond to the music. There is also an easily accessible adjuster control, allowing you to prep your shirt for low or high music you can bear! Concealed controller the improved system includes a lightweight battery pack that is cleverly hidden in a secret pocket in the shirt. The back gives great battery life and is durable enough to withstand even the wildest night out.

Washing Instructions

Carefully peel animated decal from front of T-Shirt
Unplug ribbon connector behind decal and remove decal
Unplug battery pack and remove it
You can leave the ribbon cable inside the shirt
Machine wash gentle cycle on cold
Hang to dry

Note:
If you plug the connector into the battery pack backwards the shirt will not animate properly. It will not damage the shirt. Simply reverse the connector.

Very cool shirt. I bought it to wear out to loud bars and concerts. It's really cool, picks up sound with excellence and is pretty well made and can be machine washed. Pretty sweet.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I returned the first one because it did not work properly. Meritline promptly refunded my money. On the second try only part of the display worked. I did not bother to return it due to the cost. Now I have tried a third and final time and this one is defective too. This is not a slam on Meritline, their products are usually great and when there is a problem they will correct it. I have purchased many Meritline products in the past and have been very pleased, it`s just that this shirt was disappointing.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer The shirt I received works OK and fits OK. But the "spectral display" does not do what I thought it was supposed to do. It seems to only respond to loudness with some fixed pattern on the display (in other words, it does not display the spectrum of the sound, but just has maybe five or six fixed bar patterns that are selected between just based on some weighted volume). In the description "sensor controller to detect the true rhythm, frequency and beat" seems like a bit of a marketing stretch. Note that the display is like a flexible card, still quite rigid. The battery pack is a bit awkward sometimes. It still looks kind of neat.
