LG WH12LS30K 12X Blu-Ray/DVD Burner works just as stated. I have burned several Blu Ray DVDs of my HD home movies - taken by my SOny HDR SR12 camcorder and the movies have come out as crisp and clear as in my camera. The photos have also come out very good. Did not get error messages on any of my DVDs. Have burnt about 12 of them so far. Would give high marks for the burner.

Have transferred almost 250 gb of HD home movies on BluRay disks - error free transfers. Plug and Play interface helped in installing. Real value for money.

I installed the drive and burned 2 blu rays 25gb discs with no trouble--Burn time was good and disc quality after burn was great--This is the second Blu Ray burner I have purchased from Meritline--The other was A Panasonic--Both work well--This LG came with connecting cables and software, so it was a really good deal--Being able to store 25 or 50 Gbs 0n one disc gives you all kinds of storage options--On 2 discs I was able to store my entire library of edited pictures--Don't have to worry about backups--I also purchased some rewitable BRDs and use them for periodic back up of files--The drive is a very versatile tool for your computer--

The best price I could find. I have had this burner for over half a year now. Zero coasters! It is fast and very reliable. Meritline does charge a bit for shipping but, do the math. Even with Meritline's shipping charges that others claim not to charge (other suppliers just add a higher markup to compensate for shipping charges); Meritline products are less expensive and the best deal for the buck!

Drive works great! Couldn't get included software to write to Blu-Ray disc, had to purchase an upgrade.
