Poor or no reception 5 feet from router, in 5 or 2.4 ghz. Also note, Meritline will only accept returns for in house credit, with 15% restocking and postage then they referred me to the manufacturer...thanks for nothing.

I rec not buying this. Product did not work(was only able to get 6-13Mbps even when close to router), but you cannot return this to Meritline...you must deal w/Linksys directly. Linksys very difficult to deal with... Would not send a working device.

I have bought several of these at a higher price and they work great easy to install and they are very fast. Get one before they fly out the door other companies sell this same item for $30

I'm very pleased with this purchase. Because of interference issues, my Netgear dual band router is set up for 300 Mb/s wireless N on the 5GHz channel (normally the 2.4 GHz channel is used). Most wireless N adapters don't include the 5GHz channel. This dual-band adapter works perfectly with my setup - giving me high throughput on the 5GHz band. I've also discovered that the laptop using this adapter can simultaneously connect to Wireless G (via it's internal adapter) at the same time! How cool is that? I love the cord and stand. This seems a lot safer than plugging the long dongle directly into the laptop usb port. The only 'downside' is that you must load the drivers available here - or on the install disk. No biggie. Get this adapter.

I only can get 5 to 40Mbps. It freeze a lot and need to reboot the computer. I requested for Cisco warranty service but need to pay shipping which is not worth it. I don't recommand this network adapter unless if you want to test your luck.

It would not work with XP SP2 you need to upgrade to SP3 which I didn't do. It works on the Windows vista fine and I am using it with the WD Live I purchased.

This works pretty well with my existing Cisco Linksys wireless router. Works smoothly when surfing the web, but occasionally chokes up when streaming MP3 from my home server...
